On Friday, IAS CT put Muscat CT to bat first. Muscat CT lost their first wicket in the first over of the match.

Shoaib Khan (49 off 64 balls) and Ashish Odedra stitched a 87-run partnership to set up a decent total. Ayaan Khan’s half century along with Suraj Kumar’s ball-to-ball 40 powered Muscat CT to reach 238 in 50 overs.

In reply, IAS struggled to get going with no pair of their batsmen being able to carry their innings.

Muhammed Aqeel (33 off 46) and Usman Haider’s (46 off 65) innings kept them lurking in the game but was not enough to take them over the line. IAS CT bundled down to 190 with Ayaan Khan picking 2 wickets and 6 of Muscat CT bowlers picking a wicket each.
