Talabat Oman partners with Lulu Hypermarket

Talabat has announced a partnership to sell Lulu’s products through its online ordering application to customers across Oman. Shoppers will now be able to add daily store cupboard essentials, fresh food, household items, and other goods to their online baskets with a tap of a button through Talabat’s user-friendly app.


With access to a wide range of assortments, users will enjoy accurate, convenient, and speedy deliveries to their front doors.


Abdulaziz al Haddad, Head of the Non-Food Vertical Category at Talabat Oman, said, “In line with our growth strategy, Talabat aims to better serve its customers by offering them a wider variety of brands and shops to choose from, including retail and hypermarket stores. Our customers are tech-savvy and appreciate the benefits of doing their groceries online, which offers them ease, and convenience and ultimately saves them valuable time.”


He added, “Talabat currently offers a 98.4 percent order accuracy and completeness for grocery items, all thanks to our advanced technology and effective teamwork, while we continue to leverage data to meet the needs and preferences of our customers. To continuously offer an excellent online shopping experience for users of our app, we recently also provided a training session about best customer satisfaction practices for Lulu’s team leaders in Muscat.


Commenting on the tie-up, Shabeer K.A, Regional Director of Lulu Oman said “We are excited to bring convenience to the doorstep of consumers across the country through our tie-up with Talabat. Through the Talabat grocery delivery option, customers can have easy access to a wide variety of high-quality products from a variety of brands at better prices.”

There are currently 29 Lulu Hypermarkets in Oman and now an extended number of online delivery options have become available to existing Lulu customers. The tie-up with Talabat will also see the hypermarket chain become more accessible to an even wider customer base.
