Muscat: The General Directorate of Criminal Investigation, in cooperation with the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol), has arrested two Asians wanted by a country for committing several crimes of theft and fraud.

Large sums of money were seized from their possession as legal procedures are completed against them.

As crimes are increasingly international, Interpol ensures coordination among all the different players in maintaining a global security architecture.

It enables police to work directly with their counterparts, even between countries that do not have diplomatic relations.
