Football fan fest to host more events during holidays

With national holidays beginning on Wednesday, the Football Fan Festival (FFF) at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC) has announced additional attractions to the mega festival. This is a venue that offers an unparalleled World Cup experience.


"We're about to embark on an action-packed four-day extended weekend featuring some crucial matches. Matches that stand out include a whole lot of attractions that are guaranteed to be beneficial to the Omani and expatriate fans of their favourite teams," a statement from the organisers said.


Accordingly, the spectators are in for surprises when they watch the live action at one of the mammoth screens set on the lawns of the OCEC. Now every match is crucial to the teams' chances of reaching the round of sixteen. The football fans are in for surprises.

The FFF Daily Prize Draw is an exciting daily prize draw to be run everyday starting on Tuesday, November 29. Every person who visits the Football Fan Festival on a given day and gets his ticket scanned will be entered into a draw to win exciting prizes.


Both the prizes and winners will be announced at the end of each day on social media, and the winners will be contacted via e-mail.


The prizes will include vouchers for various treatments at Grand Medical Care; night stays at Alila Hinu Bay, Alila Jabal Akhdar, dusitD2, InterContinental Muscat, Crowne Plaza OCEC and Crowne Plaza Salalah; food and beverage vouchers at various hotel outlets; and activity vouchers.


Additionally, fans will receive culinary experiences at Alila Jabal Akhdar, spa vouchers, and tickets for performances at the Royal Opera House, Muscat.


"These offers are aimed at more inclusiveness and encouragement. We are sure the fans are dreaming of seeing their celebrity, and this will be another opportunity to feel the action live as well."
