HH Sayyid Asaad bids farewell to ambassadors of Brazil, UK

Muscat: On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, HH Sayyid Asaad bin Tarik al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs, Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan received, separately, in his office on Wednesday Ligia Maria Scherer, Ambassador of the Federative Republic of Brazil to the Sultanate of Oman and Bill Murray, Ambassador of the United Kingdom (UK) to the Sultanate of Oman, to bid them farewell at the end of their tours of duty.


The two ambassadors expressed their thanks to His Majesty the Sultan for the support extended to them in the Sultanate of Oman from His Majesty, the Government and the Omani people, which had enabled them to carry out their duties.

They also wished His Majesty good health, happiness and a long life and the Sultanate of Oman further development and growth under the wise leadership of His Majesty.


In his turn, HH Sayyid Asaad expressed his appreciation to the ambassadors for the efforts they exerted in serving the relations between the Sultanate and their respective countries. He also wished them success and the peoples of their countries further progress and prosperity.


The meeting was attended by the Secretary-General and the two advisers at the Office of HH Sayyid Asaad.
