SHALEEM AND HALLANIYAT ISLANDS: Based on the Royal directive of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the governor of Dhofar accompanied by ministers and specialists visited the Islands of Al Halaniyat and Al Soda in the Wilayat of Shaleem and Al Hallaniyat Islands.
The visit comes within the framework of the continued follow-up of His Majesty to all the aspects related to development, improving the quality of services rendered to citizens and boosting the utilisation of natural potential resources that are abundant in the wilayats and governorates of the Sultanate of Oman.
During the visit, the officials inspected the new passenger terminal, the runway, the port and other public facilities in Al Hallaniyat Islands. They viewed the natural sites that are aplenty in the island and discussed ways of boosting tourist services.
