CBO delegation visits Iran

A delegation representing the Central Bank of Oman (CBO) conducted a visit to the Central Bank of the Republic Islamic of Iran recently. The delegation, headed by Tahir Salim al Amri, the Executive President of CBO, met with Dr Ali Salehabadi, the Governor of the Central Bank of Iran.


The visit is a continuation of the two countries' efforts towards enhancing their strong bilateral relations and promising trade prospects. According to December 2021 statistics, the volume of bilateral trade between the friendly countries registered approximately RO 254.309 million, while the volume of exports exceeded RO 155.583 million, and imports stood at RO 89.726 million.


The visit is expected to yield a positive outcome and raise aspirations to boost economic cooperation and open up new and broad horizons of mutual work between the two countries.
