A statement from the company said dairy production companies and their derivatives are generally impacted by the availability and accessibility of certain basic materials that are vital to the various stages of production. Most notably, cow feed is a critical component of the company's products.
The company purchases raw materials locally and from around the world in order to maintain high standards and meet its growing needs.
Recent developments around the world have affected international supply chains and the movement of goods and merchandise between countries, increasing production, shipping, and transportation costs by up to 60%.
Over the past two years, dairy companies in the region have been forced to review their prices due to the Corona pandemic.
"The Mazoon Dairy Company said it continues to take several measures to reduce production and operating costs, with price reviews as the last resort. The distributors were officially notified about the price change after official approval."
