Muscat: The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism (MHT) has reminded all hotels of the importance of linking their guest lists with the Royal Oman Police (ROP) system in all governorates of the Sultanate of Oman.

MHT said that during the follow-up with the Royal Oman Police, it was found that a number of facilities are still not connected to the system despite the project's readiness and added that as per a ministerial decision, establishments must submit a daily statement to the Royal Oman Police of all guests, their nationalities, dates of arrivals and departures.

The Ministry said that all hotel establishments that have not yet linked to the visitor system must complete the procedures by the end of the year and legal measures will be initiated in the event of non-compliance.
