Tokyo: The Sultanate of Oman’s Embassy in Tokyo organised a seminar on financial stability and investment opportunities in Oman.

The event was attended by representatives of various Japanese companies and financial institutions.

Dr Mohammed bin Said al Busaidi, Ambassador of Oman to Japan, gave a statement during the seminar in which he called upon Japanese companies to explore the business atmosphere in Oman and utilise the available investment opportunities, especially in the field of green hydrogen.

The seminar included several presentations that cover a spectrum of topics, namely financial stability and economic recovery which has a positive effect on Oman’s credit rating projections by international establishments.

The presentations also touched on investment opportunities in the green hydrogen sector and Oman’s plan to achieve net zero carbon emission by 2050.

The Hydrogen Forum, due to be held in Muscat from December 5 to 7, was among the topics discussed during the seminar. — ONA
