MUSCAT: A new batch of GED holders joined the Royal Oman Police (ROP) as part of its efforts to recruit citizens in coordination with the Ministry of Labour.

The new police recruits will undergo an integrated training programme at the Institute of Police Recruits at the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences that enables them to carry out their police duties. In addition to the military training, the programme also includes academic studies and practice.
