AL JABAL AL AKHDHAR: The joint Omani-French military exercise Mountain Warrior 2022 began at the training zones in Al Jabal Al Akhdhar on Wednesday.
The Royal Army of Oman (RAO), represented by the Mountain Regiment at the 23rd Infantry Brigade, is taking part in the drill, which will conclude on November 3.
The drill comes within the framework of the annual training plans carried out by RAO jointly with the brotherly and sisterly countries. It aims to boost relations and exchange expertise in various training fields as well as benefit from the joint operations that target to upgrade the skills of the Omani and the French soldiers to be prepared to effectively carry out various military tasks assigned to them. — ONA
