MUSCAT: Drawing on 30 years of championship rallying knowhow, the all-new Subaru WRX is promising customers significantly more bang for their buck with its sportier styling, agile performance, enhanced efficiency and industry-leading safety and connectivity features.
A performance four-door sedan inspired by rally cars, the redesigned WRX has been enthusiastically received by diehard Subaru buffs since its recent arrival in the Sultanate of Oman. The iconic brand has benefited from an array of exciting design and performance tweaks, including dramatically flared fenders, bold front grille and striking athletic posture – features that embellish the WRX’s proud rally heritage.

Complementing this feature is the all-new Subaru Performance Transmission with Paddle Shifters, which combines manual fingertip paddle shifting and an 8-speed manual mode, offering a quicker and smarter response to driver input.
The all-new WRX is designed to maintain traction on all surfaces, performing at high speeds on straight roads and tight curves. Thanks to its acclaimed symmetrical All-Wheel Drive (AWD), power is distributed to all wheels for better traction on wet and slippery roads.
Within the cabin, an assortment of infotainment and safety features ensure that passengers ride in maximum comfort. It includes a striking new vertically-aligned 11.6-inch touch-screen, dual-zone automatic climate control, impressively supportive sports seats, automatic LED headlights and tail-lights, rain-sensing wipers and keyless entry/engine start. Superior connectivity is ensured by Apple CarPlay and Android Auto options.
Helping keep the raw power of the WRX in check is a suite of cutting-edge safety technologies, notably the EyeSight Driver Assist system, the advanced Subaru Vision Assist technology and Driver Monitoring System, in addition to the new front passenger seat cushion SRS airbags for added protection. Together, they incorporate Adaptive Cruise Control (Lane Departure Prevention and Lane Centring Control and Preceding Vehicle) and Adaptive Steering Control (Pre-Collision Throttle Management, Pre-Collision Braking System, Autonomous Emergency Steering, Lead Vehicle Start Alert and Manual Speed Limiter).
