The Ministry of Commerce and Investment Promotion carried out inspection campaigns in shops and confiscated a number of displayed products that contained the Royal Emblem, the state flag, and the map of the Sultanate of Oman) without obtaining the necessary license from the ministry.
Private institutions, commercial companies, and social media accounts are not allowed to use the Royal Emblem on various commercial products without obtaining a license from the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP), a statement issued on Tuesday said.
The license can be obtained from the Ministry to use the emblem, flag of the country, and Map of the Sultanate of Oman on different commercial products. The Ministry will take the necessary legal measures against violators, the statement added.
