Muscat: Sayyid Badr Hamad al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, has received Germany’s Joining Document announcing its membership at the Middle East Desalination Research Centre (MEDRC), which is based in the Sultanate of Oman since its inception in 1996.
The document was handed over by Thomas Schneider, the Ambassador of Germany to Oman.
MEDRC was set up on the basis of forming a water resources’ action team whose mission stems from the Middle East Peace Process.
The document presentation ceremony was attended by MEDRC managing director, as well as Hashil al Muselhi, Head of the Minister’s Office Department and Dr Sulaiman Saud al Jabri, Head of the Legal Department.
