The Northern Batinah Cup for futsal championship concluded on Wednesday night under the auspices of Shaikh Muhanna bin Saif al Lamki, Adviser at the Ministry of Interior, in presence of several officials.
OQ team were crowned winners of this edition of the tournament after they defeated the General Directorate of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources in North Al Batinah Governorate 5-1 in the final at the main indoor hall in the Sohar Sports Complex.
After the concluding game, the chief guest gave away the trophies and medals to the top winners in the tournament. The Directorate-General of the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs team in North Al Batinah Governorate finished in third place.
The tournament was organised by the Directorate-General of Culture, Sports and Youth in North Al Batinah Governorate and the Governor Office of North Al Batinah Governorate. The futsal tourney featured participation of 23 teams representing different government and private sector entities and companies from the North Al Batinah.
