Muscat: The formation of cumulus clouds has begun over parts of the Hajar Mountains with opportunities for their expansion and rainfall of varying intensity and thunderstorms sometimes accompanied by active downward winds and hail and may lead to the flow of some wadis during the coming hours.


Rain of varying intensity, sometimes thunder, accompanied by active downward winds, hail, and chances of some valleys and reefs running over the two chains of the Hajar Mountains and the neighboring areas, which may extend to desert areas.


The cumulative clouds activity that is being experienced today, Wednesday is expected to continue on Thursday and Friday.


Low clouds/fog are expected to form on the coastal areas of the Sea of Oman and on parts of the governorates of Dhofar, Al Wusta, South and North Al Sharqiyah.
