MM conducts inspection campaign in Seeb, destroys over 1,500kg of inedible food

Muscat: An inspection campaign has been conducted by the Food Control Department of Muscat Municipality in the Wilayat of Al Seeb.


During the current week, around 285 inspection visits have been conducted at commercial stores in the wilaya.


Its goal was to ensure that commercial stores met local health requirements set by the municipality.


Thirteen health-related fines have been issued by the municipality, three stores have been closed, and 1,529 kilograms of expired goods have been seized.
