Shotokan karate centre holds black belt grading ceremony

MUSCAT: The Shotokan Karate Centre organised a black belt grading ceremony for a group of male and female players from Pioneers Karate Academy hall in Al Khuwair on August 27.


The ceremony was held under the supervision of Shihan Ahmed bin Saeed al Zakwani, president of the academy and the representative of JSKA Organisation in Oman.


The players of the first black belt (Dan 1) who were promoted to the second black belt (Dan 2) include Hilal bin Ali al Kindi, Ahmed bin Murad al Balushi, Ashbind Peruli, Alawi bin Tariq Ba Omar, Al Hajjaj bin Youssef al Siyabi, Al Yaqdhan bin Hilal al Abdali and Shaima bint Tariq Ba Omar and Bayan bint Hilal al Abdali after they passed the prescribed exams for the second Dan.


Rimas bint Ahmed al Wahaibi, Oman bint Youssef al Siyabi and Majan bint Youssef al Siyabi passed the black belt tests (Dan 1). Black belt certificates were delivered to the previous batch from the Pioneers Karate Academy and the Shotokan Karate Centre.


Certificates were given to instructor Youssef bin Musallam al Siyabi (Dan 5), Tariq bin Juma al Raisi (Dan 2), Khalifa bin Hamad al Rasbi (Dan 2), Khalid bin Muhammad al Jabri (Dan 2), Ahmed bin Muhammad al Jabri (Dan 1), Muhammad Ibrahim al Shinawi ( Dan 1), Habiba Ibrahim El Shinawy (Dan 1), Solaf Ibrahim El Shinawy (Dan 1), Luke Tirimacco (Dan1) and Omar bin Adil al Maimani (Dan 1).


The Pioneers karate Academy and the Shotokan Karate Centre cooperate to conduct such courses and tests are held to upgrade, refine and raise the level of the players and exchange experiences between instructors. The instructors of the Pioneers Karate Academy and the Shotokan Karate Centre congratulated all the promoted male and female players in the previous and current batches.
