Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, will host the ministerial conference on combating antimicrobial resistors in November 2022.
This came when Dr Hilal Ali al Sabti, Minister of Health and Dr Saud Hamoud al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources received here on Sunday Hanan Balkhi, Assistant Director General for Antimicrobial Resistance at the WHO.
The meeting reviewed Oman’s preparations for hosting the ministerial conference and matters related to logistic support, among other topics.
Dr Jan Jabbour, WHO Representative attended the meeting.
