Korean Ambassador visits Aster Royal Hospital

Following the Ministry of Health's green signal, Aster Royal Hospital is ready to open it’s doors to the public soon. The Ambassador of Korea in the Sultanate of Oman, Kiejoo Kim visited the hospital to see its facilities.


During the tour, the hospital’s group CEO, Dr Ashendu Pandey made an introduction of the services provided for the first time in the private sector to serve the Oman community, namely organ transplantation, cath-lab & interventional cardiology, nephrology and neuro-surgery. “It’s with great satisfaction that I see one more healthcare institution opening its doors in Oman, specially with such kind of high-end standards and we look forward to experience the hospitality of their staff once it start it’s functions,” the ambassador said.


Aster Royal Hospital also counts on two underground parking area, 200 inpatient beds - which turns it into the biggest private Hospital in Oman - bringing a total of 150 new doctors and staff members, modern technologies and infrastructure, ready for any major operation or complication with 24-hour emergency services.


The soft opening is planned for the end of August and the Hospital will initiate its operations with outpatient department and 24-hour emergency services. The other departments & specialties will start operating in a phased manner.
