Bank Muscat extends strong support to Khareef Dhofar visitors

MUSCAT: Bank Muscat the leading financial services provider in the Sultanate, has strengthened its electronic banking services to benefit visitors to the khareef Dhofar 2022. To enable customers to have easy access to banking services 24/7, the bank maintains more than 50 ATMs/CDMs in addition to 13 branches in the Governorate of Dhofar.


It is also worthwhile to note that four Bank Muscat branches and ATMs/CDMs are located close to the main highway at Adam, Haima, Qarn Al Alam and Thamrait. These four branches provide banking services in the sparsely populated area between Adam and Thamrait.

As the leading financial institution in the country, Bank Muscat is committed to the success of khareef Dhofar and has taken a lot of effort to ensure the prompt availability of banking facilities and services through branches, ATMs and CDMs in Dhofar as well as those situated on the highway between Adam and Thamrait so as to provide the best services possible for visitors during their journey.”

Today, over 1.3 million retail banking customers are using various features like real-time bill payments for utilities in Oman, fund transfers within the bank and in Oman, fund transfers across the world via the SWIFT network; speed transfers to a number of countries including Bangladesh, India, the Philippines, Pakistan and Sri Lanka; Zakat calculator and charity payments. Bill payment facility is available for a variety of utility services such as electricity, water, telecom, mobile top ups, instant credit card bill payments and school payments. Internet banking and the mBanking app also allow customers to disable or enable their debit card for international usage adding an extra layer of security for the benefit of customers. Bank Muscat also has online and contactless payment options for shopping through various Debit, Credit and Prepaid cards as well as contactless wearables. Its QR-enabled payment option through mBanking or the BM Wallet app is of great benefit to merchant partners and retail customers alike in making and receiving e-payments securely and promptly.
