SALALAH: Salalah Food Festival, organised by the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism at Hawana Salalah Hotel, will open on Thursday, August 4 and continue till August 13.
The opening ceremony will be held under the auspices of Dr Ahmed bin Mohsin al Ghassani, Chairman of Dhofar Municipality.
The extravaganza will see the participation of 55 cooks, showcase a range of food products and comprise competitions and entertainment activities, including a drama, a song and music operetta and children’s games.
The event seeks to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and promote tourism activity. -- ONA
