Campaign to boost domestic tourism in Oman

MUSCAT: Omran Group, the executive arm of the Sultanate of Oman for the development of the tourism sector, has launched the fourth edition of its tourism promotional campaign dubbed ‘In Oman’.


The campaign aims to enhance domestic tourism during the summer season by encouraging citizens and residents to explore and enjoy some of Oman’s best-known attractions.


The campaign features a set of packages and special offers for citizens and residents to explore the tourist destinations in the Sultanate of Oman, in addition to enjoying many experiences, recreational activities and adventures available in conjunction with stays at 21 hotels and resorts distributed in various governorates of the country.


The campaign includes four main packages: “Refresh”, “Enjoy”, “Relax” and “Recreate”.


The offers include a “Refresh” package worth RO 30 for accommodation in the Crowne Plaza Hotel at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre, City Hotel Duqm, Sohar Beach Hotel, Barceló Musannah Resort, Atana Stay Al Ashkhara, Atana Khasab Hotel, Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve, Atana Stay Salalah Hospitality and Sifawy Boutique Hotel.


The “Enjoy” package, worth RO 45, includes accommodation at Atana Musandam Resort, Jabal Akhdar Hotel - dusitD2 Naseem Resort and Masirah Island Resort.


The “Relax” package worth RO 65 includes accommodation at the InterContinental Muscat, Crowne Plaza Duqm, Salalah Rotana Resort, Crowne Plaza Salalah, Alila Hinu Bay Hotel, and Fanar Hotel and Residences.


As for the “Recreate” package, which is valued at RO 75, includes accommodation at the W Muscat, Alila Jabal Akhdar, and Al Bustan Palace Hotel, the Ritz-Carlton.


Visitors can make hotel reservations directly or through the campaign’s website.


This year's campaign focuses on encouraging individuals, families and friends to have fun and explore unique and diverse experiences.


The four main packages have been designed that include distinct options for accommodation and hospitality services in hotel establishments and tourist resorts.


Visitors and tourists will be able to take advantage of the campaign offers that will continue until the end of September of this year.


The range of benefits and services offered in hotels and resorts contribute to creating an enjoyable tourism experience for individuals and families during the season.
