Sub-Committees for Emergency Management deactivated as tropical depression recedes

Muscat: The National Committee for Emergency Management announced on Tuesday the deactivation of sub-committees in the Governorates of Muscat, South Al Sharqiyah and North Al Sharqiyah as the tropical depression in the Arabian Sea weakened and receded.

The committee increased the level of alert and preparedness last Sunday in some of the governorates, which were expected to be affected by the tropical depression.
