Geneva: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Consumer Protection Authority, took part on Monday in the 6th session of the Intergovernmental Group of Experts on Consumer Protection Law and Policy. The session comes within the framework of the United Nations (UN) Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
The session included several working papers on various topics, namely on continuous modifications to consumer protection laws all over the world and the experiences and challenges faced by some countries in utilizing modern technology to serve consumers.
