Muscat: The Maritime Security Centre (MSC) continues holding its daily meetings to review the latest developments regarding the tropical depression in the Arabian Sea and its effects on navigation and traffic in commercial and fishing ports.
Those meetings also address means of activating the various roles and tasks of different military, security and civil units during the tropical depression.
The MSC activated its Operations Chamber since the tropical depression’s preliminary indicators. The MSC follows up on developments and coordinates with other departments concerned with maritime security.
Today’s meeting was held at MSC headquarters under the chair of the Acting Head of the MSC.
