Muscat: Visitors have been allowed at the popular tourist site of Al Mughsail Beach in the Dhofar governorate from 9 am today.
The Royal Oman Police (ROP) called on visitors to the site to adhere to public safety guidelines and not to go beyond the safety barrier, pay attention to children, not leave them alone and stay away from dangerous places and rocky edges.
The site was closed after the tragic accident that occurred last week, which led to the drowning of eight people after they bypassed the protective fence at the site. Three 3 of them were rescued at that time and while bodies of four people, including a child were found later.
