Muscat: The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority on Sunday said two citizens died after drowning in Wadi Al Himli in Wilayat Rustaq.

"The Authority's Operations Center received a report about the drowning of two citizens in Wadi Al Himli, in Rustaq. They were taken to a hospital and the authority followed up their health condition and it was found that they were dead," said CDAA in a statement.

The authority urged everyone not to swim in valleys, ponds and dangerous places, especially during exceptional weather conditions.
