Muscat- The tenth issue of the Central Bank of Oman’s (CB) annual report on financial stability for the year 2022 said that the risks related to financial stability in the Sultanate of Oman have eased, and the banking sector has maintained its ability to absorb various shocks without negatively affecting the credit supply and the real economy.

It affirmed that the banking sector has proven its strength and resilience during the last period, as banks maintained strong capital margins, supported by the improvement in their profitability indicators, with the Omani economy taking a growth path.
