Al Yarubi to participate in Athletics World Championships

Oman national athletics player Salem al Yarubi will participate in the long jump competitions at the World Athletics Championships, hosted by Oregon, USA, from July 15-25 with the participation of more than 1,900 athletes from 192 countries, including 42 Olympic champions who won individual gold medals.


Al Yarubi had also participated at the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2021, along with the participation of the oldest woman athlete, the 49-year-old sprinter Kelly Roddick as well as the American Alison Felix, the most decorated player in the history of the world championships, winning 18 medals, including 13 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze.
