Muscat: The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) on Sunday said the authority has decided to close all tourist sites in Oman until the end of the weather condition that is presently being affected across the Sultanate of Oman.
“Considering the weather condition that Oman is currently witnessing including heavy rains, overflowing wadis and rough sea and also due to the large number of reports and nonadherence to instructions, directives, and warnings, the agency has decided to close all tourist destinations in the Sultanate until this weather condition ends,” the agency said in a statement.
CDAA urged everyone to abide by the warnings and the need to cooperate with the authority's officials and the parties concerned, and to abide by the instructions intended protect lives and maintain public safety.
