Muscat: The Wilayat of Dhank in Al Dhahirah Governorate experienced moderate to heavy rainfall that caused some wadis to overflow. Rainfall continued for several hours accompanied by thunder and hail storms.
Rain of varying intensity lashed some parts of the Central and Western Hajar Mountains in the governorates of Al Dakhiliyah, Al Dhahira and South Al Batinah. Meanwhile, rainy clouds flowed in some parts of the governorates of North Al Sharqiyah, South Al Sharqiyah, Muscat and Al Dakhiliyah.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, the highest rainfall during the period between July 3 and 5 was reported in the Wilayat of Izki at 42 mm.
