The Egyptian President affirmed his country's readiness to provide all facilities to Omani business investors wishing to invest in various economic fields, pointing to the important role played by the private sector in both countries.

During the meeting, Qais bin Mohammed Al-Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion said the visit represents a serious desire to build a growing partnership in the strategic economic sectors and a clear endeavor to enhance investment and trade exchange efforts, which reflects the comparative advantage and competitiveness between the two countries.

"The Omani-Egyptian partnership can be based on greater bases of integrated work between the two countries through the level of economic openness, trade exchange and investment cooperation," he added.

Eng. Reda bin Juma Al Saleh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry said the two countries share future visions (Oman 2040 and Egypt 2030), and business owners and the private sector in the two countries aspire to enhance their active participation in the global economy and increase productivity.
