Muscat: Dr Saud Hamoud al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources issued a ministerial decision banning the fishing, possession and trade of Sea Cucumbers for a duration of 3 years.


Trading includes selling, buying, transporting, storing, exporting and all related operations during the ban period.


The ministerial decision takes effect from the day following its date of publishing in the Official Gazette.
