Oman Athletics Association unveils new logo

MUSCAT: Oman Athletics Association (OAA) launched their new visual brand identity on Monday through different social media platforms of the association.


The new branding of OAA described the simplicity and modernity. The new logo represent the basic elements of the athletics sport in a modern way as it shows three competitions including: Running, jumping and throwing.


After unveiling the new logo, OAA wrote in their social media pages: We lead with youth determination. With a new identity and an ambitious vision. We work towards breaking records.


Salim al Amri, the Chairman of OAA, thanked the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth for their blessings on the new branding of the association.


“The board of directors worked with great effort to showcase the brand in this way as it reflects modernity. After the election of the association, the sporting fans demanded a change of identity as well as from fans of athletics including the runners who will be the most prominent ambassadors of this identity in several international, continental and regional events'', the chief of OAA added.


The OAA aims from the new visual branding to reflect the modern image of the association and contribute in a positive manner to the effective activities, competition and programmes of the association.
