Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik hosted a private dinner at Al Baraka Palace on Monday evening in honour of President Samia Suluho Hassan of the United Republic of Tanzania on the occasion of her visit to the Sultanate of Oman.


The event was attended by a number of Their Highnesses and the members of the delegation accompanying the Tanzanian president.


His Majesty the Sultan bid farewell to the Tanzanian president wishing her a nice stay for the remainder of her visit and a happy return to her home country and wishing the friendly Republic of Tanzania more progress and prosperity.


The Tanzanian president expressed her utmost thanks and appreciation for the generous hospitality extended to her and her delegation during their stay and wishing His Majesty good health, happiness and long life and the Omani people more progress and development under the wise leadership of His Majesty. — ONA
