Royal Office minister receives ambassadors of the Philippines, Korea

Muscat: Gen Sultan Mohammed al Nuamani, Minister of the Royal Office received here on Monday Imelda Panolong, Ambassador of the Philippines to the Sultanate of Oman.


The two sides reviewed fields of the joint cooperation and ways of promoting the relations between Oman and the Philippines.


The ambassador expressed thanks and appreciation of the Republic of the Philippines to the Sultanate of Oman for the successful efforts in releasing the detained Filipino citizen. The ambassador aspires to strengthen the relations of cooperation between the two countries towards broader horizons.


Meanwhile, Gen Sultan Mohammed al Nuamani, Minister of the Royal Office received here on Monday Kiejoo Kim, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Sultanate of Oman.


The ambassador commended the strength of the bilateral relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Korea.


The ambassador also expressed his thanks and appreciation for Oman’s efforts in the regional and international issues.


The two sides touched on a range of common issues and discussed ways of enhancing them to serve aspirations of the two countries.
