MoL announces new part-time opportunities

Muscat: The Ministry of Labour has announced the availability of 309,778 hours of part-time work to the benefit of 644 job-seekers as part of an initiative that aims to provide a million hours of part-time work.


The Ministry will open registration to the announced opportunities for two weeks.


The announced part-time hours are intended for various qualifications from the doctorate degree down to the pre-GED qualification. This includes 1 doctoral degree holder, 150 bachelor’s degree holders, 137 holders of post-GED certificate, 334 GED certificate holders and 22 literates.


This is the second such announcement for this year and the fifth in a series of job announcements at the state’s administrative apparatus to be issued by the Ministry of Labour in accordance with a well-studied plan that takes into account the actual needs of the public sector. — ONA
