Rome: The Sultanate of Oman’s extra virgin olive oil from Riadh Al Jabal Al Akhadhar Farm won four medals—two gold and two silver—at an international contest organized in Italy recently.
The accomplishment was highlighted on the sidelines of Royal Court Affairs’ participation in the 7th edition of the international extra virgin oils contest held in Campania in Nablus city, Italy. As many as 3,000 varieties from 31 countries were presented during the contest.
The Omani variety of extra virgin olive oil figured among the top five northern hemisphere products (Italy, Greece, Spain, Portal and Oman).
This month, (May 2022) the extra virgin olive oil from Riadh Al Jabal Al Akhadhar Farm bagged silver and bronze from similar competitions in Zurich, Switzerland.
