Muscat: The Dhofar Municipality has responded to the social media reports about not allowing camping during this Khareef season.
The municipality said it is in the process of developing two round-the-year camping sites, which will be equipped with recreational facilities, umbrella shades, road lanes, and park spaces, camping will not be permitted during this Khareef season.
"The date of construction for one of the sites will be announced soon and after evaluating the public opinion, the second site will be developed," the statement said.
