Muscat: The Ministry of Labour has announced the availability of 1,113 jobs on temporary contract basis in government departments in governorates around the Sultanate of Oman.

The jobs seek to reinforce the principle of decentralization of employment for Omani jobseekers and contribute to the development of governorates.

The jobs accommodate a wide spectrum of qualifications from Bachelor’s degree to the General Education Diploma (GED). To put it in detail, 464 contracts are slated for Bachelor’s and post-GED qualification holders, while 649 were put aside for holders of GED and lower qualifications.

The job announcement is the second of its kind this year (2022) and the fourth in the Ministry’s schedule set to meet the needs of government units.
