Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik on Monday hosted an official luncheon in honour of the Iranian President, Dr. Ibrahim Raisi, and his accompanying delegation at Al Alam Palace, who are currently visiting the Sultanate of Oman.
With an aim to expand horizons of cooperation, the Omani government and the Iranian government have inked eight memorandum of understanding (MoUs) and four cooperation agreements on oil and gas, transportation, diplomatic studies and training, radio and TV, Higher education, scientific research and innovation, agriculture, livestock and fisheries, plant protection, plant quarantine, and conformity assessment.
