Oman, Iran explore activating agreements of maritime affairs, boosting air traffic

Muscat: Eng Said Hamoud al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology received here on Sunday Rostam Qasemi, Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran.


The two sides discussed activating agreements of maritime affairs, connecting ports and boosting air traffic between the two countries. They also reviewed prospects for future developments in the two-way trade between Oman and Iran.


Eng Khamis Mohammed al Shamakhi, the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology’s Undersecretary for Transport and several officials from both sides were present at the meeting.
