Dhofar governor meets youth

Salalah: Sayyid Mohammed bin Sultan al Busaidy, Minister of State and Governor of Dhofar, met with young people of Dhofar Governorate at the Sultan Qaboos Youth Complex for Culture and Entertainment, on Sunday.


The meeting comes as a translation of the Royal directives of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and his attention to the youth and the efforts aimed at achieving their hopes and aspirations and activating everything that would create a real and effective partnership in building the renewed Omani renaissance.

During the meeting, the minister of state and governor of Dhofar stressed that the youth are the mainstay of the country and it depends on them for the success of development plans and programmes. He added that there is no doubt that the youth are the basis of any development movement and ambitious plans that aim to develop countries.

The minister of state and governor of Dhofar referred to the government’s support for the youth and its keenness to overcome all the difficulties they face in order to achieve their aspirations. He stressed the importance of focusing on spreading the positives and strengthening them with hard work and developing practical solutions to deal with the difficulties they face.

During the meeting, Sayyid Mohammad bin Sultan al Busaidy listened to the youth’s questions, ideas and creative suggestions in the field of developing work in the governorate, stressing the importance of communication and cooperation between all youth segments to benefit from the opportunities offered by the government to support young people in various development programmes. This would support the comprehensive development process and help to achieve the government’s strategies and contribute to the march of the renewed renaissance led by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik. — ONA
