Muscat: Represented by the central team tasked with Performance Measurement (Ejada), the Ministry of Labour on Sunday organized a second meeting for directors of human resources departments at government units.
The meeting seeks to establish an integrated milieu for Ejada to ensure the sustainability of this performance measurement system’s application.
The meeting touched on various aspects of Ejada focusing on its implementation over the past period since its inception. It looked into three sets of performance assessment: quarterly, tertiary and biannual assessment.
The quarterly assessment system was chosen by 24 government units, the tertiary by 6 units and the biannual by 27 units.
The meeting explored the experience of three leading government units—which were the University of Technology and Applied Sciences, the Office of the Minister of State and Governor of Dhofar and the Public Prosecution Department—with a view to tapping their expertise.
