Muscat: The Royal Oman Police on Sunday said the Department of Criminal Investigation and Research, led by the North Al Batinah Governorate Police, has arrested three people of Arab nationality and a citizen on charges of theft from retail stores in the wilayats of Saham and Al-Khaboura, and legal procedures are being completed against them.
In another incident, the Police Command of South Al Batinah Governorate has arrested seven Asians who entered the country illegally by sea, and legal procedures are being completed against them.
In another incident, the South Al Batinah Governorate Police Command stopped an expatriate in possession of a large quantity of alcoholic beverages while trying to distribute it using a private vehicle. The legal procedures are being completed against him.
