

NEW DELHI: The Omani-Indian joint business council meeting held here on Thursday explored investment opportunities and speeding partnerships between the two sides.
Qais bin Mohammed al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, said that the meeting aimed to draft work agenda that can boost growth in both countries.
On his turn, Shri Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce and Industry of India, said that India is planning to sign an agreement with Oman to enhance economic relations between the two countries.
Eng Ridha bin Juma al Saleh, Chairman of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), said that the investment climate in Oman is attractive for investors. Oman’s strategic location, he added, connects the east with the west and it is a gateway to 54 million consumers in the GCC markets. - ONA
