MUSCAT: Maj Gen Matar bin Salim al Balushi, Commander of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO), received in his office at Muaskar Al Murtafaa on Monday a delegation of the General Military Training Commission of the State of Palestine, headed by Maj Gen Mahmoud Fouad Saleem.
The two sides exchanged views on several matters of common interest.
The meeting was attended by Air Commodore Nasser bin Said al Sa’adi, RAO Assistant Chief of Staff for Training and Joint Drills, and Ambassador of Palestine to Oman.
VISIT TO NDC
The delegation from the State of Palestine also visited the National Defence College (NDC).
The guests were greeted upon their arrival by Air Vice Marshal Saleh bin Yahya al Maskari, Commandant of the NDC.
Members of the visiting delegation were briefed on the college’s facilities and equipment, as well as various departments and halls designed according to the latest specifications and equipped with the best educational systems, training aids and multi-purpose electronic network systems. -- ONA
