MUSCAT: The Omani Society for Human Resource Management (OSHRM) and WorldatWork signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) recently in Muscat, inking a milestone partnership for the provision of human resources services.

In the presence of members of the OSHRM board, human resource and business leaders, and both companies’ senior representatives, Dr Ghalib al Hosni, Chairman of OSHRM, and Mihai Popoaca, President of WorldatWork, signed the MoU, reconfirming both parties’ commitment to best-in-class Rewards practices in Oman.

The MoU is set to provide OSHRM and the HR community in the Sultanate of Oman with the education, leadership, and community needed to build and nurture their Human Capital capabilities and Rewards best practices.

A roundtable discussion on Rewards best practices preceded the MoU. The audience shared their insights on the latest practices in leveraging Rewards practices within organisations to drive performance and employee engagement.

In his address, Dr Ghalib al Hosni noted that “this partnership is between two associations with a common mission and purpose. We are looking forward to this partnership to contribute to cultivating inspired, engaged, productive, and committed workers in effective and rewarding workplaces in the Sultanate of Oman.”

WorldatWork expanded its footprint last October, reaching the MENA region through Talent at Work, aiming to expand its presence and support its membership base and certification holders in the region.
